After The Tamer had forced Leomon to come out of his retirement and raise his blade once more to protect his world he was left with a troubling truth that he was all alone, his friends all perished in The Great War. He knew of two powerful digimon that opposed The Tamer, but their hatred for one another kept them from getting along. The Siblings Flaremon and Crescemon, both revered before The Tamer's return as two of the most powerful digimon in the world.
Flaremon was a hard headed power based fighter, he believed that you gave your all in battle and that there was no such thing as fun, everything that one did was to strengthen himself and to prove themselves ready to fight. His sister however Crescemon was kind hearted and believed that you had to have fun and love what you did in order to attain success. Due to their drastic differences they never got along. They however did have one thing in common, their respect for Leomon as the greatest warrior in the digital world.
When Leomon asked them to join him and lead a resistance against The Tamer, as much as they hated to work together, they did not hesitate to agree and thus the Resistance was born. They slowly gathered support, with their contrasting views on leading, and Leomon's military expertise they were starting to become a true threat to The Tamer,
One day The Tamer was attacking a small village, trying to get information from them, The Tamer stood there 3 of his Knights ravaged the village and were not ceasing. Suddenly however there was a loud crash from inside the village, standing with several grunt soldiers laying in front of them were the 3 members of the resistance Lemon, Crescmon and Flaremon.
The Tamer smiled as he sent Beelzemon Chaosgallantmon and Belphmon into fight. After a grueling battle the 6 digimon stood at a stand still as they were equal in power. The Tamer turned and motioned for the Dark Knights to leave with him. Turning to Leomon he spoke for the first time Thou hast no idea what thou hast brought upon thy world, for as long a thou art resisting mine rule, I shall destroy everything until I make thee submit and with that the 4 of them vanished as quickly as they had appeared.
After they returned to the base both, The Tamer and Leomon realized they were going to need more help. The Tamer didn't fear the Resistance but he wanted to have even more followers, he had his Mad Scientist Barbamon rig up the computers to send an email to humans in the real world, upon accepting the email they would be teleported to his courtyard where they would be given a digimon. Tapping into the humans abilities to make digimon stronger faster. Leomon did the same as he summoned humans to help oppose The Tamer and bring peace to the land.
As the Tamers began to appear, Leomon and The tamer, The Sibling and The Dark Knights prepared for what was sure to go down as The Last Great War of the Digital world.
